BE A PART OF THE GIANT:
Want to be a part of making Obsidian Giant great? This is the section that will tell you how to do that each month. As promised, this month we have a brand spanking new contest for all of our faithful fans.
Step one of your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to click on that review tab on our Facebook page you see highlighted in the screenshot above.
Step two is to write an HONEST review of any Obsidian Giant publication or product you have read or interacted with. As an alternative we will also accept reviews based on interactions that you have had with the OG team. We don’t want people to just pay lip service. We would prefer constructive criticism to blanket praise.
That being said, we realize not all reviews are going to be an in-depth analysis of Jay’s writing. Examples can range from the very thoughtful and complete review expressed above, to: “Man, that author guy can write but should really put his shirt back on.” Or conversely: “Man, that author guy should really have his shirt off more often.” Although we would prefer commentary on our products and abilities as a company...
All reviews posted between now and April 14th will be entered into a random drawing for a $50 gift card usable for OG merchandise, as well as a $50 Visa gift card!!!!!!!!
The reason for such an EPIC prize?
This section of the newsletter is all about how you can help to be a part of growing Obsidian Giant in a fun and hopefully rewarding way. Reviews are extremely important for small businesses. They drive traffic and give us better placement within the hierarchy of Facebook recommendations. More importantly though, they allow prospective customers a variety of opinions of our products and services. This allows people to make informed decisions about which products would suit them best.
We are providing you guys with nearly two months for this contest because we know it will be a great one. We look forward to hearing your opinions, complaints, suggestions, and support!

Yes, our plan to take over the world one retail establishment at a time has officially begun. The first fine establishment to pick up our products for sale is…..
This wonderful establishment is located in the Brookline neighborhood on the same block as some of the best pastries you will ever eat (Da Luca’s Bakery). Head in and ask for Blood Sisters! While you’re at it, ask if they’ll be carrying any further products in the future!

While this is the first, it will be far from the last. Keep an eye out for new retail locations on a regular basis. The Giants are sending their emissary on a mission to pound the pavement in the “real world” and she is ready to get the job done!

If you are an artist or know someone who is, please send an email to marketing@obsidiangiant.com. We are working on building relationships with artists for future book covers and design work. If you have a fee schedule, portfolio, and/or website please feel free to send it along as well. With as many as 3 books coming out this year and our desire to expand our sticker line and design library in the future, OG may be your next freelance client!
